Baby furniture and clothes maker Oeuf has issued a recall for some of their cribs.
14,000 Sparrow cribs are being recalled because of an entrapment hazard saying, “the slats/spindles and top rail can detach from the cribs and pose an entrapment hazard to a child.” The crib is sold in white (as seen below) but is also sold in birch, grey and walnut.
According to consumeraffairs.com the company has received four reports of the slats/spindles and the top rail detaching from the crib. No injuries were reported. If you’ve purchased the Oeuf Sparrow crib the company says you should immediately stop using the crib and contact the company to receive a repair kit.
The recalled cribs were manufactured between July 2007 and January 2014.
