Halloween is 11 days away. Spooky!

Do you have your kiddo’s costume yet? We’ve gone through about seven different options. He couldn’t quite make up his mind, though we think we’ve finally settled on Spider-man. We’ll see if it changes again in the next week-and-a-half.

The one thing I love about Halloween, is the candy. I’m a bit of a purist and stick to the Reese’s, Snickers, and Twix types but every state seems to have its own favorite treat.

The folks at CandyStore.com put together the awesome interactive map above based on eight years of online candy purchase data (who gets to collect that?).

Online candy sales have increased by 15 percent since 2015, according to CandyIndustry.com. It’s no surprise chocolate is king. It sees 69 percent of online sales, though what may be surprising, is caramel is a fast grower.

We’re a Reese’s state which works quite well for me as I’m also a big fan of Reese’s Pieces.
