Cheerios is debuting an ad campaign on How To Dad, even launching the #howtodad hashtag. The commercial is to pitch their Peanut Butter Cheerios but the underlying message here is that dad is awesome.
After so many recent commercials that continue to portray dad as a hapless parenting figure, we’re looking at you Lowe’s, seeing this from Tribal Worldwide Toronto shows there is hope out there. Let’s hope this continues to push back on the hapless dad portrayal in the media and show dads as they are today. Active, engaged, and responsible figures who are as important as moms.
